Locked iphone 7

My iphone 7 is locked and I have tried to unlock it using Apple's online instructions, but they have not worked?

Are you talking about your passcode (to unlock your screen)?

What happened after following ALL these instructions?:--> If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

If you meant something different, please better explain your needs.
