Photo library moved to external drive but cannot access them to post in facebook. They appear in photos app but I cannot access them from another program. What am I missing here?
How are you trying to add them to Facebook? With Photos you need to use your browser on Facebook like this:
Also the library must be designated the System Photo Library in Photo's General preference pane:
If the button is greyed out it already is the System Photo Library.
And lastly the external HD must be formatted Mac OD Extended (journaled) with Ownership set to be ignored and connected by cable to your Mac:
