Hey so I forgot my passcode to Iphone 6, have attempted hard restore through Itunes but it gives me error : itunes could not connect to the iphone because it is locked with a passocde. You must enter your passcode on the iphone before it can be used? HELP I cant remember my passcode.

That's what I have been trying but I still get this message come up telling me to unlock the phone with the passcode. that's my problem - I cant remember the passcode and iTunes wont restore it. Im thinking about deleting the device from my icloud account but not sure if that will actually unlock the phone or not

You need to force your phone into recovery mode. Try again following each step listed.
I must be doing something wrong, ive tried it at least 8 times now and still keep getting the message that the phone is locked and needs passcode. I need to overwride the passcode somehow....
