Most of my incoming emails go to the Bin?
How can I ensure that emails from my Contacts go to the inbox?

Two places to go.
In Mail, Preferences, for that account check settings in mailbox behaviors . At least ensure junk goes to junk folder and not trash bin.
Sign into your mail account in Safari and check rules and junk filter or whitelist options, and these will depend on the provider (Google, Yahoo, MS etc)
