i got an iphone from my god sister. the phone was given to her by her auntie. it was her auntie's husband's phone but he passed away. we tried to asked her auntie what the activation lock information was but she wouldn't tell us. is any way i can get the activation lock removed?

Without the owner's authorisation, no thief or anyone including you can re-use the device.
