my phone says "turn digital crown to unlock and eject water" - i cannot get it to any other screen other than the clock face- i even did a 'force' restart. My watch is new- it has never been by water. Help!

You have activated the water lock by accident.
Do as the message says and turn the crown a few revolutions until you hear the watch beeb.
