My phone is only a week old. Was fine up until today but now when I go to messages it is automatically opening a conversation (the same conversation) instead of message list, it’s not even the person I messaged last. I’ve turned phone off and on but didn’t change. Same thing is happening in notes.

When you close an app such as Messages, it will reopen right where you closed it. If you close from a message and go back to the list, that is where it should open the next time you open it.
