Verizon Wireless has a policy on unlocking iPhones and it is displayed here https://www.verizon.com/about/consumer-safety/device-unlocking-policy Read the information carefully. It appears that Verizon automatically removes the lock after 60 days have elapsed from the purchase date. If 60 days have passed and your iPhone is still locked then give Verizon a call and see what they say. What I am not sure about is whether the buyer has to have 60 days of Verizon service as well. Give them a call and I believe you will get a result that may be favorable to you.
