audio interface/amp not appearing in input/output! please help!

I recently updated my mac to macOs catalina, and Logic Pro X is not working like it used to.

I record music by directly connecting my Yamaha 10thrx amp to my mac by USB port, and the amp would appear as my desired input/output – and I'd record. Now, nothing other than "built-in microphone" and "system setting" appears an an input/output. My amp doesn't show up, and the same happens with my steinberg audio interface.

Thing is, the amp appears in "External midi" as my "Midi destination" but I still can't record with it and I've tried everything. Any help is appreciated as I'm going crazy not being able to record my music!!
