Can not Open Photos taken on iPhone 11 Pro

The photos taken on new iPhone 11Pro is not able to open on Preview App on my mac. the photos are in .AAE format.

The .AAE files are not photos, but sidecar files to the photos. The .AAE files are storing the adjustments and filters applied to the Photos on the iPad. When you import and open a JPEG or HEIC file taken on your iPad on your Mac, and the corresponding .AAE sidecar is in the same folder, Photos for Mac will use the data from the .AAE sidecar file to apply the correct filters or adjustments. This will happen automatically. Just keep the .AAE files in the same folder as the JPEGs or HEIC files, so Photos can find and use them.
