Restoring disabled iPad

I am having difficulties in restoring my disabled iPad. Going through the process now for three days and the session keeps timing out. Can I restore using a different method?

Is this what you are doing: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204306. If it doesn’t work, I would suggest getting an appointment at an Apple Store for help.
