resolving host problem catalina

Since updating to Catalina, our iMac desktop frequently will not connect to our internet network, showing a "resolving host . . ." test at bottom left of blank page. Sometimes it fixes itself, other times we have to restart the computer. Our Macbook Pro is not having this problem.

Thank you. After restoring connection earlier I cannot replicate the problem. But the problem is not with the ISP as our we were able to confirm service with your Macbook when our destop wouldn't connect. And we did check for WiFi connection in System Preferences > Network and it showed as being connected to our network but still had to reboot the computer to restore connection. Working for now though. Thanks for your suggestions.
