Java for macOS 2017-001

Has anyone solved this yet? I just got a new mac (I resisted installing Catalina on my older one due to the 64 bit thing).


"Java for macOS 2017-001 can't be installed on this disk. A newer version of this package is already installed."

Java 6 does not work on Catalina.

You will need to use a 64-bit version from Oracle.com.
