Thank you Allan - my laptop froze this morning and cursor disappeared nothing I did would make it reappear so eventually turned it off with the power bottom. However it will not turn back on and I have tried all the general keys like the three on the left and the power button etc but nothing will make it turn on.
It looks like a circle with an arrow at9 and clock hands in the middle
