Catalina & iTunes Backups

If I download the new Catalina on my MacBook Pro, will i still be able to use itunes to backup my iphone?

The procedure will be virtually identical to what it was before except that it will be done from Finder rather than iTunes (there isn't an iTunes app with Catalina). See: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
