my Mac mini won't respond to my epson printer(did last night) yet I can print from my iPhone, I deleted the printer and added it back but still won't respond to the printer

Reset printing system then reinstall printer.

Resetting the Printing System as Gary suggest, should also clear out any queued printing jobs.
To make sure, go to your Printer Preference > select Open Print Queue... and check for a Paused or Failed print job.
