Buying an iphone

I want to buy the iPhone X buuut I don’t want to pay monthly to pay it off. Would I be able to go into the store with cash to pay for it with no trade in?

For a current version of the iPhone, you could certainly do that. The iPhone X is no longer sold by Apple.
