I’ve received an email from the App Store saying I’ve purchased two games.

Using a credit card (I don’t possess one)

How do I send to Apple direct?

Its on a device that I no longer have

Scam emails like this are extremely common. Fakes have these typical identifiers.


  1. Big, in-your-face buttons to cancel the purchase, login to your account, or similar. Apple does not include such links.
  2. Any kind of attachment (PDF, Word document, etc.). Apple does not ever include attachments.
  3. English and grammar that appears to be from someone who just started learning English last week.
