Use Drag-and-Drop:

  1. Log In: to iCloud on your iPhone
  2. Upload: your photos to iCloud
  3. Log In: to iCloud on your Windows PC
  4. Drag-and-Drop: them from iCloud on your Web browser to the Desktop
