Help transfering music from old ipad

i have an old ipad with 9.3.5 and is not upgardeable. I want to get my itunes music off of that ipad onto my newer ipad, Itunes does not reconize my old ipad. Help!

How did you get that music on your old iPad?

If you did it through iTunes on your computer, then you should be able to sync it to your new iPad from iTunes on your computer:

Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support

If you bought that music directly from the iTunes Store, then you can redownload it directly to yopuir new iPad:

Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books - Apple Support

Thank you for answering. I got the songs on my iPad from music i imported to iTunes many years ago. The current version of iTunes does not even recognize my old iPad. I found an older version of iTunes on an old Mac book and it did recognize the old iPad. After spending 3 hours and tried everything I was not able to get the music from iPad onto the old iTunes.
