Renaming a bluetooth device on my ipone 11

Why is the renaming functionality for bluetooth devices pretty much non-existent for most bluetooth devices pairing / connecting with a iphone 11?

The ability to rename a device is dependent on the device itself, not the iPhone. If the ability does not appear, then it does not support to change the name.
