My IMAC is locked and the wireless keyboard died. I bought a new wireless keyboard but can’t connect. Is there a way to connect the wireless keyboard without unlocking the computer? Can I get access through my IPAD or a laptop on the same Apple account? Trying to avoid having to go get a usb keyboard the returning it.

If the new wireless keyboard is an Apple keyboard you can use the USB charging cable to run it as a USB keyboard.
