I have 10.11.6 El Capitan. Mid 2009 macbook pro. When i search for updates, it says that there aren't any. Yet i need to have OS10.13 to run an application. How do i update.

That Mac is already running the latest macOS version it can run.


How do i update.


Purchase a newer Mac. The oldest mac that can be upgraded to macOS 10.13 is a year younger than yours—about ten years old as of this writing.
