life without iTunes

I am from an "older generation" and can't understand some things. Excuse what is probably a simple question.

If I upgrade to Catalina on my iMac, iTunes disappears. How do I watch movies I have stored on my computer on my TV through my AppleTV? Can't see where to put them and where they turn up on my smartTV.

A simple step-by-step explanation would be really appreciated.

Thank you.

If you upgrade to Catalina you will have seperate apps to replace iTunes and lose nothing. Please refer to https://www.apple.com/macos/catalina/ for information on Catalina. If you upgrade and get stuck for some reason, please remember you can always call AppleCare and they will walk you through the steps. You can reach them in your area by clicking AppleCare Contact Information
