Hello pay09,

Start here: If your AirPods are lost

If the AirPods are currently setup as paired to your phone, you should be able to just use the one AirPod. However, if they are not paired, you need both AirPods in the case for the paring operation to be successful:

Connect and use your AirPods and AirPods Pro
