New Menu Bar icon, Feb 2020, after restarting
Yesterday I performed an update to the Mac OS software and this morning I have a blue "G" shaped shield icon on my Meno Bar.
Can someone tell mw what this is?

An icon for an App you have installed. Like the other icons there next to it.
Only you can know what you haven installed. So only you can know what its for.
Look in your Applications folder in Finder, or the Launchpad for an app with a similar icon to figure out what it is.
