How do I upgrade the OS of my mid-2010 iMac from High Sierra?
I currently have High Sierra OS 10.13.6 and need a newer OS for some software. Is it possible to upgrade the OS? If so, how?

I have the same iMac, and I tried the unsupported Mojave updater, and it had many graphics artifacts when I tried. So unfortunately your only hope to get that on there, is to remote into a machine that is compatible.
