Video sharing via iCloud?

I have a video (½-hour long, nearly 8GB) that I'd like to share with two friends.


I see it's easy to share documents with other iCloud users <https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/share-files-with-icloud-file-sharing-mchl91854a7a/mac>.


How about video? Is there a size limit? If so, how can I compress this file?
