sharing notes folder

Trying to share a notes folder, followed apple's instructions, however, the app will not allow me to share a folder...only allows to share individual notes...nothing is locked...iOS 13.3.1

Hi Apple Student,

Two things you will not be able to share with people and they are-

Password Protected Notes (locked or unlocked)
Folders that contain password protected notes (locked or unlocked)

Try removing the notes that may have a password set and remove the password protection. When all notes in a folder are not password protected then you will be able to share the whole folder.
