Frozen screen & inability to turn phone off

My power button will not advance turnoff. It forces me to SIRI which blocks further progression. Help!!!!

If you still have access to the home screen, then go to Settings>General>Shut Down to power the iPhone off. Give it a little rest then try starting it again. If it won't power back on, then see this, If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support
