Clearing an iPad

Hello

I work for a company that gives out iPads for the employees to do there work. Sometimes they do not return the iPad - how can we wipe all of the information from the iPad if we do not have it in our possession? Thank you for any assistance.

If the iPad is being managed by an MDM or Apple Configurator see here: Use MDM to manage Activation Lock and Lost Mode - Apple Support

If its nor managed, but you know the Apple ID being used for iCloud, see here: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support

If none of theoptions above are ture, then there is no way to wipe the iPad.
