Activation lock

I bought an Apple Watch from someone (used) they did not erase the activation lock and I no longer have contact with the person? Is there a way of getting out of the lock without their information? Could I possible take it to an Apple store and get it done there? Really don’t want my money to just be down the drain. Please help.

No.

Only the original owner can unpair the Watch for resale.

Activation Lock is a theft deterrent feature with no bypass or workaround.

Without the owner's authorisation, no thief or anyone including you can re-use the device.
