I have an iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011) using OS Sierra 10.12.6. I use turbo tax and they say I need version 13. Can I download this to my computer. I have not received any notifications or updates. Thank you
No, I don't imagine it would be much fun. Deleting the installer and re-downloading a new one usually works. You can try installing in Safe Mode but I can't assure you that will work either.

If you have hardware or software that isn't compatible with macOS Catalina or macOS Mojave, you might be able to upgrade to macOS High Sierra.

Thank you. When I followed link to upgrade to Sierra 13 and open the application, this is what I received:
This copy of the Install macOS High Sierra application is damaged, and can‘t be used to install macOS. :-(
Thank you. After downloading and attempting to install I have received this message An error occurred while preparing the installation. Try running this application again.
Tried 3 times. This is not fun.
Check in your Applications folder for "Install Mac OS High Sierra". Delete the installer, then restart and download again.
Thank you so much everyone for your help. Unfortunately, I have tried everything and it will not install because of an error occurring.
Your welcome, the only thing I could recommend is to boot into Recovery and re-install Mac OS and try the install again.
