Hi.


Plug the USB/Lightning cable into the port on the bottom of the mouse and into a USB port on the Mac. Turn the power switch on. A 30 minute charge will be more than enough to get you going. The Mac will need to be powered on to charge the device.


Also, if you have an iPad or iPhone, the wall charger for those devices can also be used to charge the mouse, trackpad or keyboard for your Mac.
