I want to ask you, when some phones are put on charge all night, they burn out or their battery swells. Modern smartphones have a function, when their charging reaches up to 100%, they automatically turn off charging. And I wanted to know if the iPhone 5S has such a function? Is it safe if you put it on charge all night?

It is safe only and only if you charge iPhone with the original charger and cable came within the box of iPhone.
