I just found my ipad after it being in storage for years. I restored it to factory settings and updated it. Since its old it can go past ios 9.3.5 which wouldn't be an issue if I could download any apps. But unfortunately even apps like spotify are no longer compatible, making the ipad virtually useless to me now. Is there any way to be able to download older versions of apps that would be compatible?

I am sorry, iPad mini (1st generation) is a nearly decade old device and is incompatible with most, if not all, software available on the App Store. There is no way to download older versions of these applications.
