Can't text to an Android device
I’ve tried everything and my girlfriend can’t get my texts and she has a android

Was she a former iPhone user?
If she was, she needs to : Deregister and Turn Off iMessage - Apple Support
If not, make sure your SMS/MMS plans from your carrier are provision properly by them, ask them.
In the meantime make sure in
Settings > Messages > Send as SMS and MMS Messaging are ON.
