external drive on iPad Pro 11 (2018)

Hi, Is there possible to plug external drive to iPad Pro 11 (2018) and view/explor all content?

Yes, but the external drive will require power that the iPad likely cannot provide. Unless the external drive has its own power-source, both your iPad and external storage device must be connected to a powered USB Hub.


Your external storage must also be partitioned and formatted correctly. The drive must have a single partition, formatted as FAT32, exFAT or APFS. Other drive formats are not supported. Not all file types will be exposed by your iPad.
