How can I figure out what software is using Legacy System extensions on my Mac?

Does it list the developer's name?

As was mentioned, start with the name of the developer.



As for the package, EtreCheck will show what extensions are installed.

Though getting from there to the package can (will?) take some investigation.


If you’re not sure about the extensions, post the EtreCheck data here. Open a new reply, and press the button that looks like a printed page to get a text input box big enough to paste the hardware and software configuration report here.
