Administrator password in time machine backup

I am trying to restore a MacBook pro to an earlier time machine backup but realized after the restoration that it is asking for the admin password at that time. Is there a way to bypass that password or is there a way to find out the password though the time machine backup. I could be over thinking this and hoping someone will say none of this is necessary.
