What do I do if my ipad wont turn or at all or charge?

Try using a different wall socket, charger and charging cable, changing one at a time in an attempt to isolate a potential cause.
If a defective socket, charger or cable cannot be identified, connect your iPad to its wall charger for at least 24hrs - monitoring to ensure that no unexpected temperature rise is evident.
Whilst leaving the iPad connected to its charger, attempt to force-restart the iPad:
- On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
- On an iPad with Face ID: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
