Ipad mini transfer

Hiya,

So I recently bought an ipad air and I'm trying to transfer everything from my old ipad to my new one. I have some full length movies under the home video section of the videos app, but the files show up nowhere. Is there anyway to transfer them from ipad to ipad? i'm giving the mini ipad to my daughter and I don't wanna leave anything on it.

You should find this help page will answer most of your questions about transferring your data from one ipad to another:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201269

The linked page describes multiple methods to transfer data when setting-up a new iPad.

Some music and video content, if downloaded from sources such iTunes - or transferred from your PC or Mac using the iTunes program, will not be “transferred” - but must instead be downloaded again. This serves two purposes, the first being that it is assumed that the original material still exists for future download - the second being that any DRM (Digital Rights Management) protections are preserved, as otherwise an un-authorised copy may be brought into existence.

If for some reason you discover that non-DRM content isn’t automatically transferred, after transfer you could try manual copy (perhaps using AirDrop - or via a Cloud storage service) from your old to new iPad.

Before finally passing your old iPad to your daughter, you should follow this procedure to properly prepare the old iPad for re-use:

I hope this information proves to be helpful.
