Incorrect Apple Watch calories

How is this possible? My husband and I do the same walk together which means same distance and same time and yet his calories burnt is more than mine.

A brisk walk speed is different for everybody as the watch takes into account your age,sex,weight and heart rate which why it is important to calibrate the watch when you set it up from new and have the correct details set up in the health app.
