[HELP] “Photos Library.photoslibrary”. (1000)

Hello, world!

I am trying to open Photos on my MacBook Air, but I get this message

“Photos Library.photoslibrary”. (1000)
Photos was unable to open the library"

Can you please guide me how to resolve this problem?

Thank you in advance.


P.S. I am only able to open photos through Preview.

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.15

As a test launch Photos with the Option key held down and create a new, test library.  Import some photos and test. Close Photos and try opening your original library again.


When did this problem begin? Was it after an update or upgrade?


Do you have a backup of the library made before this problem occurred?
