I have two phones on the same account. I am trying to figure out how to make my sons phone a different apple account that way our information is not shared. Pictures, and other info. Please help!

After establishing a new Apple ID and the rest—all part of the normal new-iPhone setup process the above procedure leaves you with—you’ll want to consider setting up Family Sharing, as was mentioned earlier.

First, disable Find My on your son’s iPhone. Then hop into settings>Apple ID and click sign out. After that you can create an Apple ID for your son and turn on Find My if needed (recommended)
