turn off wifi in control center perminantly 'not till tomorro'

Why can't I turn wifi off (permanently) in control center.

It would only be a extra toggle to select ON / OFF / Off till tomorrow.

Control center is suppose to be the quick easy is it not ?

Not quick and easy and someone should tell everyone how that works because I had it come on while working in a sensitive area. I was removed from the plant permanently. Loss of work.

Use Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in Control Center - Apple Support

Sorry you lost your work...I hope you will find a better employer...

The above link explains it this way...

Disconnect from Wi-Fi networks

Open Control Center and tap . The icon dims and your device disconnects from any network that you're connected to.

While Wi-Fi is disabled, auto-join for any nearby Wi-Fi networks is also disabled until:

  • You turn on Wi-Fi in Control Center.
  • You connect to a Wi-Fi network in Settings > Wi-Fi.
  • You walk or drive to a new location.
  • It's 5 AM local time.
  • You restart your device.

If you want to completely disable Wi-Fi for all networks and devices, follow these steps:

  • To turn off Wi-Fi, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn off Wi-Fi.
