I'm running iOS 13.3.1 on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Whether the screen is in locked mode or active, I get notifications. If I can't tap the notification in time, it disappears. After it disappears, how do I see that notification (or any other past notifications)?

If you did not open the app or dismiss a notification, they will appear when you swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Notification screen.

Thanks. I discovered this right after I posted my question. I was pulling up from the bottom. I guess I should have tried it standing on my head.
