Target Display Mode

Can I use a mid 2010 27-inch iMac (OXS 10.11.6) as a display in the target display mode for a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) using a thunderbolt cable?

If yes, how?

Thanks in advance.
