Apple Support Emails Regarding Purchases

I am receiving emails supposedly from Apple Support regarding purchases being made for games, etc. I cannot determine their authenticity and/or whether or not my Apple account has been hacked. I don’t know where I can confirm where these purchases have been made. Please help!

The info below may help identify bogus emails.

  • Apple does not include document, or PDF files to download.
  • Apple would not refer to you as Dear Customer, Dear Client, or anything other than the name on file for your account.
  • Apple would not have such horrible spelling or grammar.
  • Apple would not send a message to “Undisclosed Recipients”.

It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message, as an attachment to Apple.

If you provided your Apple ID and password at the bogus site, change your password immediately.

See your purchase history for the App Store or iTunes Store

View a list of the apps, songs, movies, TV shows, books, or other items that you bought with your Apple ID.

In your purchase history, you can do these things:

  • See a complete list of your purchases from the App Store and iTunes Store.
  • Request a refund.
  • Report a problem with an app or other item.
  • See the date when you bought an item or the date when an order was billed.
  • See which payment method was charged for an item.
  • Resend a receipt to yourself via email.

To see your purchase history, tap or click this button:

If your purchase history doesn't appear when you tap or click the button, follow the steps below.
