Mac running slow

My iMac has been running slow for a while, particularly after upgrade to Catalina. I have now 10.15.3 installed and the system is simply not workable any longer.

I have ran the EtreCheck report and was able to remove a couple of easy suggestions, but those didn't help improving speed. I am enclosing the current version of EtreCheck (after my last cleanouts), would appreciate feedback on root cause and possible solutions. Particularly where EtreCheck suggests problems with the hard drive itself puzzles me.

Thank you.

Welcome!

Please get the latest version of EtreCheck. v3 is dreadfully out of date and contains only a fraction of the useful info current versions have. Current version is 5.5.4.
